WELCOME TO GATHIGA CHILDREN'S HOPE HOME
Gathiga Children's Hope Home is a Non-Profit Organisation dedicated to help street children who are orphaned, abandoned, abused or those forced out of their homes due to the inability of their families to cater for their basic needs. All these is done with a view that children need proper care, guidance and opportunity to take charge of their lives. Currently the home has 96 children. 29 in Secondary School, 25 in Primary School and the other 42 in Nursery School.

Many of the children have experienced trauma and abuse before being placed in GCHH. Their rights have been violated many times by the adults who were supposed to protect them. Material assistance apart, these children need positive role models in their lives to help them get back on the right track. Tuwape Tumaini Volunteers is a Gathiga Children‘s Hope Home project that gives people, who are motivated to change and make a difference in the lives of needy children, the opportunity to volunteer in Kenya.
May God Help The Poor Children
....... He help the homeless children the children of the street
He give them clothes and shelter he give them food to eat
And may God help the poor children such suffering they go through
And God bless all those who help them .......
